January 18, 2010

Stéphane arrived on Sunday in Tallinn, Estonia, for the European Championships 2010. The short program will take place on Wednesday from 11 am (GMT+2). On Thursday, at the occasion of the long program, Stéphane will present for the very first time his new program to “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi. The detailed schedule as well as the results can be found on the ISU page of the event.

Lugano - Basel - Milano

December 15, 2009

Last weekend, Stéphane won the Swiss Championships for the 9th time in his career. He received a score of 83.91 points for his short program. Due to a shaky landing on the quad toeloop he was only able to add a single toeloop. Nevertheless he delighted the whole audience with his Tell all over again.
In the free program he had some problems again with his quad toeloop and was unable to add the second jump. Stéphane was cautious with the jumps in his Tango but was convincing as always. He received 160.32 points and therefore had a total of 244.23 points.

Everyone who didn’t have the chance to watch Stéphane in Lugano, will have another two oppurtunities this year: either at the Eisgala Basel on December 19, or at the Ice Christmas Gala in Milano on December 20. See you all there!

Tokyo, Torino, Toronto

October 15, 2009

After coming home from Germany, Stéphane only had a few days to relax before flying to Tokyo, where he took part in the Japan Open. Thanks, among other things, to the 150 points Stéphane earned, Team Europe, also made up of Laura Lepistö, Elena Glebova and Samuel Contesti for the 2009 edition, beat Teams USA and Japan for the first time since skaters compete in teams for this event. Shortly after that, Stéphane presented two programs in Torino for the Golden Skate Awards,
Two good things done, giving him the opportunity to now totally focus on his preparation for the next big events awaiting him this season.

Therefore, Stéphane will fly to Toronto at the end of the week in order to train there for a fortnight. Next gathering to remember: the Swiss Championships which will be held from December 10th to 12th in Lugano.

A promising return

September 25, 2009

Stéphane skated an excellent free program for which he was awarded 154.91 points. He therefore finished at the first position of the Nebelhorn Trophy with a final total score of 232.36 points, in front of the Russian Ivan Tretiakov (206 pts) and the Czech Michal Brezina (205 pts). His performance included a great quadruple toeloop-double-double combination, as well as a triple flip-triple toeloop combination.

Congratulations and thank you for a beautiful Tango!
