Looking back and ahead

Hello everyone…for once from Switzerland!

This season was a marvelous journey for me. First of all I’d like to thank you all for your incredible support throughout this season which was an amazing adventure. I’m very proud of the path I’ve taken, happy that I’ve shared it with you and I hope to continue parts of my journey of life on the ice, especially because my desire of creating is now greater than ever.

I’ve spent the past few days recharging my batteries being with my family and friends and I’m already looking forward to skating again.

On 13 May there will be a documentary about my new exhibition program on TSR1 at 22.45 and on 17 May I’ll be on a radio show called “Qui vient dîner” on RSR. Regarding my collection, I can’t wait to further develop this project. I have to say I’m never bored, I’m happy to progress, to grow, to discover.

I will keep you up to date about all my projects.

xoxo

Stephane

Ho visto l’esecuzione del tuo nuovo pezzo! Carino! Molto esuberante!……..

Stephane, Will the DOI dates have a special tribute to MJ? He is sorely missed here in USA. So far, musicians haven’t stepped up and had concerts/cds/vids to help with the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster. MJ would have…. He really cared about the world and knew how all things are interconnected, cause n effect, circle of life…. Thank you for bringing your art and creativity to the world. We all enjoy your work :) Remember that your skating is like music notes come to life on ice ;) Thank You for giving us a reason to smile!!!!!!! xoxo Jane Spears

    Oh… Stéphane…
    Three minutes of happiness!
Congratulations on the premiere of your new program «Let the Good Times Roll»!
Jazzy mood – Ray Charles on the ice!
It’s really swing – energy, pulse, drive!
This program is zestful: cartwheel by one hand and serpentine of the steps (a little whiskey?)and…
    Last chord is simpy fantastic!
    You charge with your emotions!
And you are so elegant in the purple shirt!
    Thanks Salome for helping you!
    Merci bien!

Russian writer Anton Chehov said: “In man everything should be fine: his face and clothing, and soul, and thoughts … ” (The play for theatre “Uncle Vanya”). These words are exactly about you, Stéphane. It’s rare all these qualities are combined in one person. Even the clothing is important. Your costumes always reflect ideas and mood of your programs. Your beauty and your massages to the world touch our hearts.
Stéphane, I admire with all my heart the beauty of your skating, your human beauty. I love all your programs. But it seems to me, «Ne Me Quitte Pas» is the especial program. You absolutely another when you immerse into this music and in this poetry. In this program you are the person who knows what the pain is. Your openness to the world bewitches hearts of many people. Overcoming the pain, you became the winner, having created this masterpiece. Yes, any pain contain invaluable gift for us. Please, do not cease to skate it for some time.
«And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life,
your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy» Kahlil Gibran «The Prophet».

Stéphane, I wish your inner spring of inspiration and ideas for your art would be inexhaustible.

  21. From Giulia (Italy)

Ah, how I love Youtube!!! It allows me to watch your lovely programs even if I cannot see them live! And, let me say it, after a terrible couple of weeks, watching your “Let the good times roll” made me happy again; thank you once again for this, making people happy is probably the most wonderful gift of yours! ;)
And now I want to see that program!!! I was so in love with Tainted Love and when I knew that you were going back to something jazzy, I couldn’t wait to see the result! Obviously it’s amazing, as if I’ve ever had any doubt about it… everything you do is absoulutely amazing! ;)
Anyway, may I ask why you didn’t do this kind of programs more often? They suits you like a glove! :)
Well, to be honest everything you do suits you like a glove, but you know, the program that made me fall in love with you and your skating (which also was the first one I saw) was Tainted Love: since then, I think I have a sort of addiction for you skating to that kind of music! ;P

Have fun (in fact, I’m sure that skating that program must be really funny) and don’t stress yourself too much!

    Love you! <3

    Hey, happy whiskey pianoist :)
It was such a pleasure watching you yesterday. A joyful programme from you is not out of expectation, but I didn’t anticipated myself to be THAT happy, huge silly grin fulfilled my face the moment you struck the beginning pose.
The programme was so short. >.< I was basically bouncing here and there after watching, though.
I wish you'd never grow old. You reminds me of genies in the forest, who live for thousands of ages.
    <3 have good rest~

Oh, Stéphane, my eyes and my brain loved the richness and fluidness of your movements in “Let the good times roll” and my ears love Ray Charles’s voice. Amazing! And, as usual when I watch your performances, a smile remained in my lips and a nice feeling in my heart for hours and hours.

Quite often your skating is praised “like a magic”.
You have unusual gifts for giving expressions and showing difficult skills. Equally, those brilliance based on your endeavors.

    with some quotes,
Making the simple complicated is commonplace, it’s normal.
Making the complicated simple.., awesomely simple.., that’s creativity.

This is very embodied in you on the ice…

    Please have fun,

    From Dinara (from Kazakhstan)
    Dear Stephane!
I have long been waiting for the moment to write you a long letter which could contain the words of thankfulness for that marvelous art you have been making come true on the ice. Those beautiful movements of your incredibly artistic hands with fingers full of tenderness and grace. Those unbelievable pas, your every movement makes millions and millions of women’s hearts live through every instance of your presence on the ice with tremble. I guess tears appear on every single girl’s face when she sees your immortal art. You are more than a figure skater, your talent and the power with which you realize that potential and the will God so mercifully endowed you with makes you a unique artist. You prove by your bright example, by your very persona, the high meaning of the name of the figure skating in French, la patinage artistique.
Nowadays I started to look at many things in life quite differently and this experience is due to figure skating. How it is fascinating to observe that this sport may change lives of thousands, millions of people. Figure skating can help a de petit enfants that cling to TV screens the very moment they see your ever unforgettable performance not to become reserved in themselves, but to believe in their own forces, potential, good fortune… Figure skating gives them a chance to develop the sense of responsibility and friendliness; it helps them not to stop dreaming, loving, trusting, and believing in something marvelous…
It is pleasant to perceive that they are-the growing generation-not wandering in the streets, stealing something, learning how to be undisciplined. They are changing for the better, because they want to be like their favourite sportsmen, like you are…
How strong is my desire to express my personal thankfulness for this to you!!! You are always showing a bright example of gentlemanship not only for young people, but for grown-ups as well, because you always prove that a human being is able to adore with such a great supreme devotion what he is doing. When he does it with soul, his life revives, becomes better…
I deeply esteem your stamina, dear Stephane, your manliness and devotedness to figure skating. I confess that I adore this sport in part because of your being the integral part of its development. I respect your strong will-force morale, your volonte. As one great man said: “Kindness lasts forever”. La bonté dure éternellement. Such people as you, dear Stephane, help others to become better. Merci immense humain!!!
P.S.: Forgive me for not writing this my letter in your mother language, French. I know French not so well as I know English. My French teacher at university says that I am doing a lot of progress learning French. She does not know who inspired me for that! You, Stephane.
    Le merci bien à vous!!!
P.S.: By the way, do you have any plans to visit Kazakhstan? Know that you have a plenty of fans here as well! We are missing you here!!!!!!!!!!!!

  37. From Rin

Stephane, please enjoy yourself adding the new page on your diary with today’s show!

Today I found some of your fabulous skates which I’ve ever seen through the net, and I remember that I was touched by skating of so aged gentleman in a while back. It was a little slowly and calm skating, of course not explosive, but his deep affection for skating sank into my heart. It was full of vital energies.
The kind of charms of you and him are close. Stylish, graceful, sensitive, and above all, the way dancing with heart draw me on the ice.
Please give our spirits a lift, cheer me up with your skating.

    Hope you have joyful tomorrow

May this summer be adventurous, spontaneous, light and inspireing for you, giving you hopes, and making your dreams come true. And don’t forget to make a wish while srar shower in August=)

  42. From olga

Dear Stephane! I totally agree that you are helping to make this world a better place! I don’t know you personally, but I can imagine that sometimes you probably are thinking “if it’s all worth it” or similar thoughts as we all are sometimes… And I want just to say that if you can change the world even for a few minutes… make people forget about everything but this magic on ice… and help people to discover the best in them… it’s certainly worth it all!
And I think I’ll post my favorite poem by Rudyard Kipling for you:
If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
    If you can dream–and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think–and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
    And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with kings–nor lose the common touch;
    If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run–
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And–which is more–you’ll be a Man, my son!
    –Rudyard Kipling

  43. From Hiromi

Hi Stephane and all his fans!

    I totally agree with Mel.
I think so, too, that “best qualities in ourselves create a very large community of positive energy around the world.”
It’s not a dream, but an actuality!

As Jane Spears(comment on 30.05.10) and some other fans are saying, Stephane is transforming the world into a better place. It’s because he’d discovered his best quality and keeps creating positive energy from it, and that energy goes around the world and makes us positive, as we know.
It means that also we, each of us, has the possibility to do the same thing and can make a large community of positive energy around the world.
Stephane is a good model for us!
I want to be a person who not only receive the positive energy but also react and create it on my own…it’s my hope.
It might not be easy, but I’ll keep trying anyway!(^0^)

  44. From Mel (Brazil)

I don’t know how to talk about deep feelings in English, only in Portuguese. So, thank you, dear fans, your words are also my words. (I like reading all the comments too.)
A special thanks to Tanya: when you say that “Stephane is a very positive person. In communicating with him, we discover the best qualities in ourselves”, I agree totally with you. And it seems to me that these best qualities created a very large community of positive energy around the world. Is it real? Or am I dreaming?

  45. From Hiromi

    To Tanya,

Thank you for answering my comment!
I’ve sent an email to you a little while ago.
    Please check it!!

    To Stéphane,

You’re connecting all the fans each other and allowing us to share the love and feelings…
Here is like a spring of love, joy and thankfulness!
Because you share what you have, we can share what we have.
I know that you gather people whose hearts are full of love and beauty like you, because “Like draws to like”.
Thank you for offering us such a nice place!

  46. From Irina (Russia)

Dear Stephane, here is what I want to tell you (and in response to Tanya’s comment).
Yes, our Russian commentators always talk about you so enthusiastically! I saw you for the first time in Traviata at the EC 2010, and I was so impressed that I hardly could wait for the Gala. And at last they announced your name and as if he heard my feelings our commentator began to talk with very excited voice: You were waiting for him! Yes, you were waiting for him! He has come back. He becomes stronger and stronger! And how organic he is on the ice! Genuine maestro, grand artist! What he is doing is simply fantastic!
It was the first time when I saw Ne Me Quitte Pas, I forgot everything in the world and felt only music, only movement only your pain.
I never thought that figure skating could cause such a a storm of emotions.
I will remember you for all my life!

  47. From Jane Spears

BTW Stephane,Thanks to all of your fans for posting vids on youtube as for now (until you have DVDs in your shop-hint-hint ;) )that is the only way I can keep up with your progress in transforming the world into a better place through your athletic artistry on ice :) xoxo Jane Spears

  48. From Jane Spears

Stephane,I can understand your dislike of computers-I just spent 2 hours watching translated vids of you :) I din’t want to stop! I got pulled into your 1997 Worlds Ex. which was the very 1st time I saw you skate on t.v. in USA I remember thinking that you would definitely be on Olympic podium-glad I was right ;) Thank You! I also had the pleasure of viewing your ’straight from the plane’ performance at Diamond Ice-It was magic! Words cannot describe! WOW! Thank you for being you and through all of your hard work (and pain)bringing so much pleasure with your artistry on ice! Please have DVDs in your shop a.s.a.p. :) xoxo Jane Spears

    To Hiromi

Thank you, Hiromi, for answering my comment.
Very pleased that my words were echoed in your heart.
I like reading comments from Stephane’s fans too. It’s very interesting! You are right, that comments of Stephane’s fans are full of love.
One person attracts another person if they are very much alike.
Stephane is a very positive person.
In communicating with him, we discover the best qualities in ourselves. Gabriel Garcia Marquez said: «I love you not for who you are, but for who I am when I am with you».
I have a passion in my life too. It’s music.
Thanks to Stephane, I gained new interesting friends. I would be very glad to communicate.

    To Tanya,
    Your comment is so wonderful!!!
It touches my heart, too, and I’m deeply impressed.
I like reading comments from Stephane’s fans because they are really nice and full of love.
I wish that all the people would have such love to each other… I think the world become a heaven!!

  51. From Tanya (Moscow)

Stephane, we are looking forward to your new program «Let the Good Times Roll»,
I have already many times watched a documentary about you.
So many positive emotions! How beautiful and stylish!
One russian commentator at Euro Champs Gala 2008 said about your program «Un Giorno Per Noi» very emotionally: “Stephane tears ours hearts to tatters». So we can say about each of your programs. Maestro de patinage artistique.
I very well understand your fear that it is possible in your life will no longer be such a strong passion as figure skating. There are many any projects, but they will hardly be able to give you the same strong emotions. Perhaps in a person’s life can be more than one great passion. For instance, russian composer Alexander Borodin, who wrote the opera “Prince Igor” was also a scientist chemist, who has made an enormous contribution to science. He devoted his life with all the passion of his soul and music and science. Vincent Van Gogh saw the meaning of his life in service to the church for many years. Only when he was 27 years old he discovered that his true calling as a painter.
I wish you to continue to move deeper into your inner world. I’m sure you will find a lot of diamonds there. Sometimes life presents us with surprises.
Love! I wish you meet favorite person who will be like-minded for you, not only in figure skating, but in your inner life.

It’s possible that in this world you are just a person, but for someone you’re the whole world.

  52. From Meltem (İstanbul/Turkey)

But I should tell you I had never seen anything so touched, so sicere and so beautiful. I simply forget that it is an ice show I feel it with all my soul. It looks like the last farewell and the tears fill my eyes
Would it be anything like that once again?

  55. From Tagupyon

merci beaucoup Stephane…thank you all for your warm heart

  58. From laura (Italia)

    Stephane…..vorrei chiedere una cosa..
perchè sei passato da un pezzo come “ne me quitte pas” così drammatico e passionale a ” Let The Good Times Roll”che dice…. “di divertirsi perchè si vive solo una volta
e quando sei morto il gioco è fatto “…????
Non mi fraintendere trovo che sia una stupenda canzone e la tua interpretazione sarà di certo superba, ma non capisco il significato???? Cosa vuoi dire ?????

  59. From pipiyu

    Hi, Stephane!

I watched your documentary on website.
I felt your passion for figure skating and ballet.
I imagine if your were a ballet dancer while I love your performance on ice.
I am happy that you recharge your energy by staying with your family and friends.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Japan.

    with love,

  60. From Ayşegül (Istanbul/Turkey)

    P.S. : Sorry, it’s “Stéphane” .. :)

  61. From Ayşegül (Istanbul/Turkey)

    Hello dearest Seéphane!
Thanks for the update!.. I’m glad that you’re having some rest and spending your time with your family and friends. :)
I watched the documentary from the Internet and I really liked it so much! Watching you practising, laughing, concentrating, joking is simply wonderful. Also, your new program seems marvellous! Now I’m always listening to “Let The Good Times Roll” and trying to imagine how the program will be.. :D
I’m sorry about your feelings about Vancover and you’re right, most people just look at results. But the true figure skating lovers and we, your fans, know that results aren’t everything and you done/do so great in all of your programs & galas. I know that you feel bad about it but as you say to us “Enjoy life, it’s too short to complain.” :) I guess it became everyone’s philosophy in here! ;)
I don’t understand French – but I’m determined, I’ll go to Institut Français d’İstanbul, I hope ;) – so I read the translation, though your mimics and motions tell everything.. The thing that you’re doing is really hard, but it’s your passion and life, so I’m sure you’re enjoying it so much.. :)
I knew that you look so aesthetic, elegant and artistic on ice but I didn’t know that you look as the same in a ballet classroom! :) Your artistry suits everything, especially aesthetic branches like ballet, figure skating..etc.
Whatever, I think I wrote too much again, but my thoughts doesn’t fit here! As always, have fun and take care!
    Love you always,
Ayşegül (From Turkey, with love :) )

  62. From marion

  63. From Larisa (Ukraine)

    Dear Stephane,
Thank you so much for this amazing, beautiful film. So sincere and intriguing at once! I know a lot of people who keep watching this film again and again just as I am! Couse it’s a priceless gift for us to watch you creating masterpieces, to see how you work and improve yourself. We want to see this new program so much! We are looking forward to see you in Kiev!

  64. From littlepearl

I was after work walking in subway, an extremely crowded station in the central of the city. It was awful. One of those so-called financial centers of East Asia, had been so reasonably abandoned the beauty of life to conquer material benefits. Sometimes it drove me crazy.

I had my mp3 on. in the earphone played softly was your sweet, mesmorizing voice. You were speaking in a language that I understood barely several words. Yet suddenly, all annoying beings were expeled and I could feel my post-work anger vanished. All left was the presence of you, speaking with natural grace and beauty which carried me away upon a plateau. When I breathed, I could almost sense a smell of vanilla.

It might remain a mystery til the end of my life that how on earth could a real person hold a whole planet of beauty in his own little human body. Just like til this day, I can’t convince myself by any reason of how much I am fond of you. While watching you, there were times when a string of a three-words sentence leaped between my lips, in response to the wild heartbeat in my chest. It felt so strong almost like love but, jesus, I don’t even know you!

I heard you said ‘In a show you can tell, the audience want to be carried away’.That was a perfect description, dear, you carried so many souls away that I began to wonder where do you plan to place them?In your garage?

    *laugh*
My best of wishes.Oh and good luck as a choreographer!!

    Bonjour Stephane,

Thank you so much for your letting us know about the documentary and the radio show in your own words.
I happily can meet you in various ways. Merci beaucoup….

Occasionary I am not able to write some expressions because they lie on the deepest part in my heart.

Yesterday I listened your voice on radio through the net. I could imagine many kinds of expressions on your face.
I hope the situation cultivating and supporting athletes in Switzerland will be better and better.
You are the symbol of brilliant big dream for young skater. I’m looking forward to your choreograph for them.
And please have a fantastic time in Vietnam with children. I had good experiences there, sure. I enjoyed talking with people, appreciation nature and foods like French & Vietnam flavor sandwiches.

Thank you for giving pleasant time with your lovely soft voice,
please take care and enjoy more your discovery”

  66. From Sonia, Czech

    Hi Stéphane,

Hope you took good rest and enjoyed your time with family and friends.
I’ve seen the documentary about your new program and even if I do not understand French my first impression was: this going to be something full of energy, dance and joy from his skating :-) and I was absolutely right! I’m looking forward to see this Piece in the full version and hope will be lucky to see it live ;-)
I think your “pupils” will be certainly pleased by your contribution, ideas, innovative access which you bring to them and their skating. Have a good inspiration in working with them and make great job together.

Wish you a nice evening, here is still rainy weather…

  69. From Sonja (Novosibirsk, Russia)

    Dear Stephane,
It was very exciting to see a piece of your new program and your working process for creating it. They show you as a person whose life is only work on the ice. And we know that not always you are so serious, just the opposite we remember you often smiling and joking and making fun at the After Parties.
I wish you enjoying a complete life: not only work, but also good rest, good friends, many interests and many lovely moments only for you!

  70. From Natacha

    Dear Stephane,

Thank you for your new messages.
I’m very happy to hear that you had a good rest with your family and friends.
And I could watch your documentary!!
I’m looking forward to seeing your new EX program in Japan!
When I watch your new EX , maybe I remember this documentary and your efforts.
Please take care! I hope your happiness and health!!

  73. From Elena (St. Petersburg, Russia)

Hello, Stef! I’ve just watched “Preliminaries” about you, and a couple of ideas came to my mind. Please spend a minute to read this message, maybe you’ll find it interesting.
In your film you said that you and Salome made together about 52 programs. I think it would be great if you made a DVD (or series of 3 DVDs) with the best of them like musicians do. A DVD can contain 10 – 12 programs from competitions and shows and your short comments on how those programs were born, etc. It could be such a precious gift for all your fans! and a top sales article in your online shop, for sure! ))
Another idea came when I saw how a camera spins. What if you fix a tiny video camera on your head like skydivers do and show us what YOU see when you skate? I’d love to see this video and “to feel” like a great skater for a few minutes ;-D
So what do you think of these suggestions?
    Stay safe!

  74. From Lena

Beautiful film, Stephane! Though sometimes sad. I feel as if I had experienced several moments of your life with you. It helped me to understand you better.

  75. From laura

    ciao stephan

  76. From Iphigenia

    Dear Stephane,
I wish your wings grow ever stronger, so they can carry you wherever your heart desires in this beautiful journey, you’ ve begun, to discover yourself and the world. We love you very much. It couldn’ t have been any other way. You shine upon our hearts, like the sun shines upon a field of flowers. Humbly and freely we only seek to express our joy and gratitude.

Your recent tour sure I’ ve followed with mind and heart. The numerous entries on You Tube brought alive your very special moments, you’ ve shined, shared and enjoyed in this celebrating atmosphere. A thousand smiles flew again into my heart…

Thank you so much for letting us breathe Stephane’ s moments of his everyday backstage life through the Documentary. It all flew so beautifully and peacefully: the preparation, the anticipation, the fascinating and disciplined world of training, the cooperation… I may not understand french, but I can feel the velvet effect, while you talked and smiled at the same time. The film has been very inspiring, leaving me dancing and dancing and dancing…

At this point I’ d like to take the opportunity and express my gratitude to all those wonderful people, who updated You Tube with the videos of your tour, as well as those, who had the kindness to provide us with the website for your Documentary. It has been like waking-up one morning and find a precious gift from someone, who you do not know, you will probably never know and not have the chance to make as happy as he has made you. All I can say is THANK YOU!

Dear Stephane, I wish good luck to your new exhibition program. Thank you once more for keeping us a part of your life. We are keeping you in our loving embrace…

  77. From Irina

Very surprising film. The created image leaves such a sharp feeling of loneliness: work, train, cold industrial landscapes, dramatic music, a brief “good luck” and passing through a long empty corridor before the performance in the Icegala. Is it you, Stephane?
It is not a film about your new program it is a film about the loneliness of the artist. So frankly!

  78. From olga

Dear Stephane! The documentary is beautiful! Thank you so much for being willing to share a part of your life with others! And Salome is just what I thought she is… just beautiful!
And I thought once again that I’m really happy I decided to watch the Olimpics and then to know more about you, because you are very special.

  80. From Natalia (Russia)

    Hello, Stephane!
Lovely documentary. Warm and sincere as everything you do. Your life (trainings, choreography lessons, shows) is so different from my everyday routine, therefore extremely interesting.
The process of creating new program is inconceivable, how you do it? It’s a magic and a great happiness to be capable of expressing yourself in such a beautiful manner, to translate thoughts and feelings into a dance. I love the choice of music for your new program and how you interpret it – freedom, joy, and energy. It’s already a great pleasure to watch. Sure it’ll be a masterpiece.
So glad to hear that your ‘desire of creating is now greater than ever’. Knowing that gives me hope.
Be strong, be inspired, free and creative, be yourself, Stephane!
    Love. Adore. Natalia.

    Dearest Stephane,

Much more impressive than I expected…
    It’s like a movie.
I feel I am lucky I could be at Eisgala Basel.
One of scenes I was captured by is your air putting on William Tell costume at locker room and going to the ice, and standby..
Thank you very much for showing us your special scenes, like choreograph with Salome(I really like her) and ballet lesson(beautiful you with live piano),,
Your pureness, beauty is more conspicuoused with being well directed and edited. Both of the opening and ending are awesome for me.

I could hear your Words in good different way.
I’m looking forward to see your jazzy program more and more.
    !Swing!

Though I am on the short trip, fortunately I could watch this fine document.
    I will watch this repeatedly :) :)!

Nice to hear you want to expand your collection. I already mailed to the webshop-master that I would very much like gloves/handkerchieves like you were on a press-conference in Tallinn. I’m searching for such gloves for over a year now, but I cannot find them in The Netherlands. I saw you wearing them and it would be great to add them to your collection so I can finally have such gloves and what’s better than with the beautiful logo of you on it!! I mean those gloves: (colours can be different, it’s the system of free-fingers I’m looking for)

  88. From Tanya (Moscow)

Stephane, thank you for the joy that you give to us by way of your enchanteresse patinage artistique.
I watched a documentary about you. I look forward to your new program. I was intrigued by its fragments. It is very beautifully and stylishly. It’s great choice of music. It’s very positive and expressive. It’s a very interesting process of the birth of a new program.
I was on the show in Moscow and Kiev.
It seems to me, all people love you as a boy named August in the fairy tale “August” by Hermann Hesse. Only August became cruel because of such universal love, but you have so much patience and tact in dealing with people. You love people.
Stephane, I read about your wish to yourself: the words about freedom by Wilhelm Tell.
I think you are one of the few people who have inner freedom. The most of people do not have courage to be free. The very few people can discover their inner potential, can find their own way, to do only what they like to. We become prisoners voluntarily. We are characters from a poem «Nowhere man» by John Lennon:
    He’s a real nowhere man,
    Sitting in his nowhere land,
    Making all his nowhere plans
    For nobody.
Doesn’t have a point of view,
Knows not where he’s going to,
Isn’t he a bit like you and me?

Meetings with people like you help us to wake up, to kindle with our inner light, like a candle from the candle.
Let the flame of your candle burns always brightly.
Stephane, I wish you strength and courage to be free in your profession and in your life.

Thank you enormously for the wonderful season you gave us!
It let lots of people have a glimpse at you as a newly born artist of staging. I wish you tons of success in this new path of yours!
The taste of creation is bitter and sweet at the same time, but in any case it is worth trying and enjoying!

    xoxo
