it’s a great pleasure to tell you how happy and excited I am about today’s show! First of all I could show my “Let the Good Times Roll” program to the wonderful Japanese audience; thank you for your warm welcome, I really enjoyed it!!!
Then, I felt high heartbeats for my friend Daisuke, considering he showed the exhibition program I just choreographed for him a week ago… you can’t imagine how nervous I was! I could tell he was nervous, too, and even though I know this program is going to improve a lot, I was already touched and proud of him. Merci Daisuke!
I would like to use this opportunity to thank both of my friends that I worked with during the last weeks for their trust! Merci Denis, merci Daisuke!
I wish them to be as successful as they deserve for the upcoming season!

I was so glad you looked very healthy , energetic, like no pain any more .. after I saw William Tell, I felt like that something which have pressed in my heart disappeared, I couln’t sleep because heartbeat was too high lol ! and then 2day I had been there .. you performed programes better than first show..

I have long been waiting for the moment to write you a long letter which could contain the words of thankfulness for that marvelous art you have been making come true on the ice. Those beautiful movements of your incredibly artistic hands with fingers full of tenderness and grace. Those unbelievable pas, your every movement makes millions and millions of women’s hearts live through every instance of your presence on the ice with tremble. I guess tears appear on every single girl’s face when she sees your immortal art. You are more than a figure skater, your talent and the power with which you realize that potential and the will God so mercifully endowed you with makes you a unique artist. You prove by your bright example, by your very persona, the high meaning of the name of the figure skating in French, la patinage artistique.
Nowadays I started to look at many things in life quite differently and this experience is due to figure skating. How it is fascinating to observe that this sport may change lives of thousands,millions of people. Figure skating can help a de petit enfants that cling to TV screens the very moment they see your ever unforgettable performance not to become reserved in themselves,but to believe in their own forces, potential, good fortune… Figure skating gives them a chance to develop the sense of responsibility and friendliness; it helps them not to stop dreaming,loving,trusting,believing in something marvelous…
It is pleasant to perceive that they are-the growing generation-not wandering in the streets, stealing something, learning how to be undisciplined. They are changing for the better, because they want to be like their favourite sportsmen, like you are…

You are always showing a bright example of gentlemanship not only for young people, but for grown-ups as well, because you always prove that a human being is able to adore with such a great supreme devotion what he is doing. Ich habe gerade Ihren neuen Tanz gesehen, den Sie für Daisuke Takahashi aufgeführt haben, und möchte Ihnen herzlich zu Ihrem ersten Auftritt als Choreograph gratulieren! Der Tanz ist wirklich sehr schön und originell (besonders der Anfang), man sieht gleich, dass Sie sich Ihrer Arbeit mit Leib und Seele hingegeben haben und dass sie Ihnen viel Freude gemacht hat.
Doch ich muss gestehen, dass ich ein sehr merkwürdiges Gefühl hatte, als ich diesen Tanz sah. Daisuke ist ohne Zweifel ein großer Eiskunstläufer, er hat eine ausgezeichnete Technik und ist mit Recht zum Weltmeister geworden, aber wenn er Ihren Stil nachahmt, bekommt der Zuschauer einen sehr seltsamen Eindruck: Man sieht Daisuke an und stellt sich dabei vor, wie Sie das machen würden, wenn Sie jetzt auf dem Eis wären.
Ich glaube, es wäre doch richtiger, wenn Sie für ihn und auch für alle anderen Eiskunstläufer, mit denen Sie in der Zukunft arbeiten werden, etwas ganz Neues erfänden, denn jeder von ihnen soll sein eigenes Gesicht haben. Natürlich ist es sehr schwer, aber ich bin sicher, Sie werden es schaffen. Viele Leute könnten Ihre Kreativität und zahlreiche originelle Ideen beneiden. Doch Ihr Stil und die Elemente, die Sie im Laufe der letzten 10 Jahre erfunden haben, sollen auch weiter nur Ihnen gehören.
Ich würde mich auch sehr freuen, wenn Michal Březina und Takahiko Kozuka Sie zur Mitarbeit einladen würden. Ich finde diese Eiskunstläufer äußerst begabt und Sie könnten Ihnen wirklich viel beibringen.
Ich wünsche Ihnen viele interessante, eindrucksvolle Shows, viel Erfolg bei der Arbeit als Choreograph und vielleicht auch als Trainer und natürlich einen schönen Urlaub!

I like the choreography both of opening and ending dance with all cast. The hands movement was impressive with beautiful chorus of artists in the former, and it’s a joyful spectacle that every each skaters performed with a hat and a chair in the latter! So cute.
I’ve experienced the nervous and excited feeling before going to the ’stage’ sometimes in my life, and how fantastic after accomplish the role! Becoming addicted-*

There’ve been a little long since the last time I post a comment here. It’s a pleasure to see you love your job as a choreographer because I found my first job in the last month and enjoy it a lot, and I now understand how important if a person’s career could give him/her so much happiness and sense of achievement. Better to find a place suitbale for yourself, and enjoy what you do, that’s what I learned. And also the one thing you said was right: Enjoy life, it’s too short to complain.

Das neue Ex-Programm für Daisuke finde ich sehr, sehr schööön! Ich spiele Kravier und das Stück spiele ich besonders gerne. Ich staunte darüber besonders, dass die Choreographie (Jamp, Step, Spins) so gut der Musik passten. Ich meine nicht nur Melodie, sondern die gesamte Struktur. Diese Musik kan mann ziemlich genau in 4 teilen. Das hast du auch mit der Choreo gemacht und das passt sooo gut! Ich liebe besonders den plötzlich ruhigen Moment während des Steps und “long edge” nach der Schrifffolge. Alles Gute für deine weitere Karriere als Chreograf!

I think Meltem is right. The most important thing Stéphane can give to us he is giving: his endeavor and his artistry in figure skating. If he reads or not these comments is not essential. But he have created an opportunity to us – fans all around the world – to share sweet feelings and positive thoughts, and it is a very beautiful thing. For me, this is enough.

You were in Yokohama on June 25, and will be in Niigata late this week. Possibly are you in somewhere in Japan? If so, plese take care of yourself for the weather of the hot and humid Japanese rainy season.
M.C.,surely we don’t think so. But this is not important. Important thing is to share common feelings related to someone who we all support. People need somethings that will make them happy and if writing here makes this, then there is no problem. In the world, there is lots of things that make people sad, so maybe this can be thought as nonsense thing,but who can say that everything in the world is meaningful? At least, this doesn’t hurt anyone. We all love figure skating and we appreciate Lambiel’s skating and everyone uses different styles to define their appreciations. These are my thoughts but I respect also your thoughts…

I finally had the chance to watch your new programs. I love this jazzy music and the way you skate on it. I saw once Ray Charles in a concert, it was really amazing ! There was a lot of very good energy. It looks like you felt it too.
I am also very happy with the choreography of “la Valse d’Amelie”. I can recognize your beautiful style.
The very first time I saw your skating, I thought “few minutes..that’s not enough, I want to see more of it” .. That’s why many of us were sad when you decided to retire years later; we were afraid to see your skating less often.

This is realy different emotion for me to see your arm movements and spin positions from other skater:) Takahashi is really talented and hardworking skater…he has taken lots of things from you and the result is so nice but only I have a nonprofessional thought…I think he should add more somethings from himself to this program…maybe I am wrong…this is only an opinion.

I’ve just watched Dreams on Ice on TV (because I couldn’t get a ticket). Then I felt I must come here and write something about what I saw.
I found Dai’s (and your) “Amelie” deeply moving. So sensitive and beautiful. It gave me a heartache. It was the first time for me to have a heartache watching figure skating. Sorry to say this, but I’d been worried about your work with Daisuke until I saw it today. I was totally wrong and stupid. Your choreography is just wonderful!
I also enjoyed your “Ray.” How cool it was! As you know, Japanese audience always looks a bit low-key, but I know they felt as excited as I did watching your performance.

I’ve just watched the whole of Daisuke’s program. Well, I really loved it, the waltz is as if breathing with some sorrow and hope. Dai looks more graceful with your spin positions and you’ve given him the direction to using his hands properly. And yet he doesn’t copy your style – to my mind it’s impossible; but his expression has been beautifully improved!
The music interpretation and arrangement is very appealing and touching. I’m fascinated by the final, too.

Daisuke’s new program was also an amazing one! The essence from ballet was everywhere for which Daisuke never danced before. Surprisingly, he adopted very quickly from you, not only a motion but also a sense in spins!! I loved the program and also looking forward to see the other one that you choreographed for his SP!!
